All of our hosting plans come with email accounts.  The  Bronze Plan allows 15 email accounts, for example.

Once your hosting is setup, you simply login to Cpanel, create the email accounts you need then setup your Outlook Express or Outlook Email client with your new email account.

Clients who do not have a website built yet can start using their email services as soon as their hosting account is setup.  You can always build your website at a later date.  You do not have to create a website in order to setup email accounts using your domain name.

Check the number of email accounts you will need before you purchase hosting to ensure you will have enough.  Each Hosting Plan has a limit on the number of email accounts that can be setup.

It’s also important to understand the difference between email aliases and email accounts.  An email account has it’s own Mailbox.  An email alias can be something like info@yourdomain.com.au and is forwarded to joebloggs@yourdomain.com .  You can setup unlimited email aliases with our hosting plans, therefore, you may only need a few real email accounts with their own Mailboxes.

Google Apps

Google Apps is Google’s version of Gmail for domain names.  It also offers access to Google Docs and many other features.  Lots of businesses,  institutions, and universities are migrating to Google Apps because it saves on infrastructure costs.

If you prefer to use Google Apps for your email you can add Google’s MX Records in cPanel.  Once the change of MX records is resolving, your Google Apps email accounts will be operational.
